Obituary for Pansy Sadler Baisey

Mrs. Pansy Sadler Baisey, age 82 of South Hill, died Saturday, February 23 at her home. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Charlie Baisey; her son, David Lee Baisey, and her grandchildren, Meredith and Mckenzie Baiseyand their mother, Kim. Also surviving is her sister, Mary Price of South Hill. Mrs. Baisey was preceded in death by her parents, Roswell Sadler, Sr and Effie, as well as her siblings, Roswell Sadler, Jr., James S. Sadler and Christine Sadler Wright.

Pansy was a clerk for Oakley’s Department Store until 1972 when she became a mother and helped on the family farm. In the early 1990’s she started working in food service with CMH. She was a member of Ephesus Baptist Church and attended New Hope Baptist Church. Pansy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend to all. She will be remembered for her warm and loving smile.

A celebration of life service will be conducted at 11am Wednesday, Feb. 27, 2019 at Farrar Funeral Chapel. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6:30 – 8:00 at the funeral.
