Condolences

Condolence From: Ralph Hamaker
Condolence: Lucille (she was always Lucille to me) and I are 1st. cousins; her mother (Mildred) and my mother (Louise) were sisters. In the young days, we cousins (Lucille/
Jacqueline/Audrey/Glenn/Ralph/Joan/Jan spent many summers together at Bremo and the Jones family home, Arvon. I was honored to be an usher at Lucille's wedding (and Jacqueline's as well). Sadly, we did not keep in touch as much as we should have over the years.
But I did talk to Lucille by phone a few months ago, and we had a long conversation that brought back a rush of memories. I will miss her and wish the very best to her extended family.

Condolence From: Rev. Charles N. Davidson, Jr.
Condolence: I was saddened to hear of Lou's death. I saw her personally only a few times over the years, including when I attended her wedding as a boy. However, my parents, Dr. and Mrs. Charles and Katherine Davidson, were very fond of Lou and Tom and kept in touch with them during the lifetimes. My father was Lou's uncle (Ovid's youngest brother). My sister, Nancy, and I send our condolences to all of you, her family. May her memories remain a great comfort to you in the years to come. And may God's peace be yours as you celebrate her life and all that she has meant to you.

Condolence: Tom & Mildred,
So sorry to hear about your mom. She will be missed. Just the other day at Pine View she said how sweet Jack my dad was still polite & how much she enjoyed seeing him. That meant a lot to me.

Condolence: I don't even know where to begin...Lou was such a special person. Over the years she and I had many many conversations.I know she missed "Tommy" something awful. Lou was a wonderful and proud mom, grand mom and friend! Teri and Jessica both treasure a home made Afghan she made for them when their first babies were born. She was devoted to Tom and Mildred...and later to all the grands. I would always get a call from her if she didn't get her yearly Christmas card picture on time! Truly a wonderful lady. She will be missed by many. I am so sorry for your loss.

Condolence: Dr. & Mrs. Saunders were in my Nursing life for many years. Thy both shared their home to me when I was working at CMH during two different snow storms. Dr. Saunders came to the hospital to get me after my shift was over & went back to their house. Shared a wonderful meal & a warm bed. Poo, their dog, always sat in the floor beside Dr. Saunders & enjoyed sneaked food from Dr. Saunders! Lou & I always had many talks & shared times of the Outer Banks. They both were loving & giving people. Both will always be missed. God bless & keep their family. With loving memories, Penny Braddy
