Mr. Buster Dishmon, age 92 of Boydton, died Tuesday May 8, 2017. He is survived by his daughter, Patricia L Baker of Boydton; two grandchildren, Mary Elizabeth Baker Vick Robert Curtis Vick III) and Norwood Dishmon Baker(Patricia H. Baker) and four great grandchildren, Sarah Ann, Hannah and Robert Curtis Vick, IV and Aiden Michael Baker. Also surviving is a brother, Early Dishmon of LaCrosse and two sisters, Ruth Dishmon Lynch of LaCrosse and Daisy Dishmon Wilkinson of Union Level. Mr. Dishmon was preceded in death by his wife, Sarah Elizabeth; three brothers, Archie, Jack and Troy Dishmon, and sister, Christine D. Turner.

Mr. Dishmon was a retired mechanic with the Town of LaCrosse and a WWII Army Veteran having received the Silver Star Medal for Gallantry in Action in Germany.
